The hosted PriceSentinel costs nothing. There is no paid plan, no trial and no credit card. The limits below keep one shared server fair for everyone, and if you need more, the same tracker is yours to self-host.

Bring your own AI key
AI link research, the AI assistant and the last-resort AI price extractor run on your own API key. You pay your AI provider directly for the tokens you use, at their prices, and PriceSentinel adds nothing on top. Scheduled checks that need the AI extractor also use your key.
Supported providers: Anthropic, OpenAI, OpenRouter, Groq, Google Gemini (through its OpenAI-compatible endpoint), Mistral, DeepSeek and any other OpenAI-compatible endpoint that is reachable from the internet. Keys are encrypted at rest and you can remove them at any time.
No key? No problem. Tracking, price extraction, history and alerts all work without AI.
Why is it free?
PriceSentinel is an open-source project by Andras Bogdan-Andrei. The hosted version exists so you can try it, and keep using it, without running a server. Because AI runs on your key and checks are limited, the shared server stays cheap to operate. If the limits or the service change, the change will be announced on this site first.
